KAZUKIN likes Komoro Soba.
What's good? First, it's cheap.
And it's properly tasty.
These days, prioritizing low prices sometimes means compromises in flavor somewhere. But Komoro Soba keeps its prices down while still leaving a solid sense of satisfaction: “I ate soba.”
Cheapness and tastiness together.
Splendid.
The small tussle with the table green onions
And when it comes to Komoro Soba, it's the green onions.
I'm happy that I can put in as many table green onions as I like. For KAZUKIN, who wants to pile lots of green onions on soba, this is a pretty big plus.
But the green-onion container is a bit small.
I sit down, receive the soba, and open the lid, ready to add green onions.
There are none.
Perfectly none.
The customer just before probably thought, like KAZUKIN, “the more green onions the better.” Since everyone wants to add plenty, this can't be helped.
Unable to speak up in the lunchtime kitchen
All I'd need to do is tell a staff member,
“Green onions, please...”
but the lunchtime kitchen is a battlefield.
Orders coming in one after another.
Voices flying.
Soba being completed at tremendous speed.
Seeing that frantic kitchen, KAZUKIN can't call out just for green onions.
I want green onions.
But now doesn't feel like the time.
So I quietly slurp my soba with few green onions.
Cheap, tasty, fast, clean
Still, isn't Komoro Soba's serving speed top class?
From ordering to arrival, it's just fast. Even on a lunch break with no time, I can eat quickly and get back quickly. A precious Japanese-style fast food to enjoy when busy.
I also like that the shop is kept clean.
Cheap.
Tasty.
Fast.
And clean.
Everything needed is properly there.
Only on days when the green onions are empty, it's a little lonely.
Even so, I go again.
Komoro Soba is great, right?
