It doesn't have the special feel of a high-end tempura restaurant. A craftsman doesn't fry each piece in front of you. But Tenya has a different kind of greatness.

Freshly fried tempura, a sweet-savory sauce. White rice with it. Everything you need is there. There's shrimp, there are vegetables, there's rice soaked with sauce. What more could you want?
A bowl packed with necessary-and-sufficient deliciousness
Prices have of course gone up. Even so, I can still eat a properly tasty tendon at a reasonable price. I can only be grateful.
It's also nice that it comes out fast after you order. When you're hungry, you don't have to wait endlessly listening to the sound of tempura frying. Drop in casually, eat tendon, and leave satisfied.
It is truly a bowl packed with necessary-and-sufficient deliciousness.
The shame is there's no branch nearby
The shame is that there's no branch near me.
If there were a Tenya nearby, KAZUKIN would certainly go more often than now. I'd probably be regularly eating a not-at-all-light tendon while saying “just something light at Tenya today.”
Precisely because it isn't nearby, I'm a little happy when I find one.
