I've been paying for ChatGPT, and before I knew it, seven months have passed.
At first I thought, “A monthly fee...?” but now I use it daily for writing, investment analysis, building my website, KAZUKIN's character settings, and even prompting for image generation.
It's less like search now and more like an advisor.
No—a bit of an editor, and sometimes the straight man.
Amid all that, I finally paid for Claude too.
Honestly, I'd really like to narrow it down to one.
I want to cut monthly fixed costs as much as possible, and seeing myself pay for several AIs, I also think,
“What on earth am I aiming for?”
But once I used them, each is different.
GPT is a good match for KAZUKIN LAB
GPT is a very good match for KAZUKIN LAB.
The tone of the writing, inside jokes, self-deprecation, “Ore-shiki” investment analysis, and even image generation consultations—it goes along with a wide range.
In particular, it's strong at turning trivial daily life into article material.
The story of my torn PORTER bag, getting left behind on Nissan stock, feeling my old body at basketball—it turns them all into proper content.
Claude is strong at code and building the website
Claude, on the other hand, feels strong when I have it write code or move website-building forward.
The flow of building the website directly with Claude Code in particular was quite a shock.
I wondered what all that time agonizing over no-code tools was for; things take shape so fast.
However, I feel GPT is a better match for images.
KAZUKIN's expression, 1.5-head proportions, left foot green, right hand skin-colored, a heart-shaped K logo on the chest.
For work that involves correcting fine details like these over and over, I still want to rely on GPT.
This is the AI subscription swamp
In short, annoyingly, both have uses.
- GPT is strong at writing, images, chat and turning things into material
- Claude is strong at code, structure and website building
I want to narrow it to one, but I can't cut either.
This is the AI subscription swamp.
In the past, subscriptions meant video streaming or music.
Now I'm paying for AI.
And one isn't enough; I've started using them by purpose.
Thinking about it calmly, it's quite an era.

どっちも捨てがたいよね・・
Summary
Still, for building KAZUKIN LAB, writing investment articles, and turning silly daily life into content, they're very reliable.
Things that would have stalled when I thought alone move forward a bit when I toss them to AI.
That alone may justify paying.
The problem is my wallet.
GPT?
Claude?
Or both?
I really want to narrow it down to one.
But today again, I have both open.
KAZUKIN's AI research is still being depreciated.
