KAZUKIN LAB itself is being built with AI as a creative partner. I started with almost no web-development experience, but talking through each decision with AI has helped me shape the site into something much closer to what I imagined.

Why I switched to writing the code directly

I first tried building the site with a no-code tool. Before long, pages with unclear purposes began multiplying, and even I could no longer tell where anything belonged.

To avoid repeating that mess, I rebuilt the site with plain HTML, CSS and JavaScript. It takes more hands-on work, but the simpler structure means I know where everything lives.

How I divide the work with AI

I use conversational AI to work through the design and structure, then use a coding agent for the actual file changes. Separating “thinking about the site” from “editing the code” keeps the process understandable.

  • Copy the article template into the articles folder
  • Add one entry to the article index file
  • The article then appears automatically in the site listings

The important part is that AI is not a mysterious button that owns the project. I still want to understand the structure well enough to keep growing the site myself.

A site I can continue to grow

The goal is not to hand everything over to AI. It is to use AI for the parts where it helps, while keeping the system simple enough for me to understand.

I want KAZUKIN LAB to remain a personal medium I can build little by little—one experiment, one mistake and one article at a time.
